IndicatorNewYou have probably seen numerous articles and videos about ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Until I was diagnosed at the age of 51, I had never heard the term.

I was a dreamer, often restless, easily bored and I struggled to complete my school work especially school projects. It was my normal and I thought everyone else was like me.

It was only when I hit menopause had severe depression, and I was no longer able to control aspects of my life such as my marriage, codependency, addiction to work and my constant need to change careers and seek new adventures.

Getting a diagnosis from my psychiatrist, starting ADHD medication, and doing an intensive ADHD Coaching Programme journey which still guides me 20 years later has helped me to understand why I have done certain things in my past.

Having ADHD is not all bad. I have a wonderful curious brain, I have been able to enjoy a rich and busy life, and met so many interesting people along the way.
